HQ Defence


All defensive equipment in your headquarters begins at level 1 and can be increased a maximum of level 4.

Adding defensive items will also give your guild rank points, up to a maximum of 141,939.  This corresponds to a value of 141,939,000 uranium.


INHIBITOR: (Maximum 4)

Inhibitor




The inhibitor slowly heals your defenses.  It will also heal any guild members while in their HQ.

Inhibitors have a range of 5 units.

DEFENCE DRONE: (Maximum 5)

Defence Drones are mobile and therefore able to follow you around.  However this also makes them easier to kill.

The damage it deals is a percentage of the remaining hit points on your ship as shown below.

MISSILE TURRET: (Maximum 4)

Missile Turret




Missile Turrets have a long range of 10 units.  However they also have a long cool down time compared to other defensive units.  The damage it deals is a percentage of the remaining hit points on your ship as shown below.

Laser Turrets have a short range of 5 units.  However they also have a very short cool down time compared to other defensive units.  The damage it deals is a percentage of the remaining hit points on your ship as shown below.

SPLASH TURRET: (Maximum 4)

Splash Turret




Splash Turrets have a medium range of 7 units.  The cool down time for these turrets is a little shorter than the cool down for missile turrets, but longer than the cool down for laser turrets.

So far, the percentage of damage dealt by splash turrets has not been released.

HYPER CORE: (Maximum 1)

HyperCore





The Hyper Core is the nerve center of your HQ.  It cannot be attacked until all other defenses have been destroyed (this does not include reactors).  Once it is destroyed your HQ has been conquered and all invading players will automatically be teleported out of your HQ.

When attacking a Hyper Core you can only cause a maximum of 2 dmg per shot.  All safety lasers will cause only 1 dmg per shot.

Your Hyper Core will damage all invading players in your HQ every 6 seconds.  The damage it deals is a percentage of the remaining hit points on your ship as shown below.

REACTORS:

While not technically a defensive item, all reactors in your HQ can help to defend it.

Reactors (when not being directly attacked) will attack any ships in range that have a lower missile research level. See the upcoming Research Guide for more information.
